Who was Jörg Jenatsch ?

During the Thirty Years' War, Jörg Jenatsch emerged as a prominent Swiss political leader, marking his presence as a notable figure in the tumultuous 17th-century history of the Grisons.

On January 24, 1639, in Chur, amidst the Carnival festivities, Jenatsch met his end at the hands of an assassin disguised in a bear costume, whose identity has remained a mystery.
